This year, we have decided to help Camp Rainbow.
The Camp Rainbow foundation is an orginization that is composed entirely of volunteers who are dedicated to providing seriously ill children a camping experience that previously had been unavailble to them in the Missouiri and Illinois area. Their goals are to provide these children the opportunity to enjoy a camping experience in an environment that allows each child to participate in exciting activities, to make new friends, to build self-esteem, and to be relieved of the everyday stress caused by their illness. Also of utmost importance, Camp Rainbow provides each camper with necessary medical care.
Camp Rainbow is open to any seriously ill child from ages 6-13, regardless of race, religion, color, national origin, or financial status.
All cost for Camp Rainbow are paid by the Camp Rainbow Foundation, its donors and sponsors. 100% of every dollar raised for Camp Rainbow goes directly to provide a quality camping program for each camper. There is no cost to any camper or their family.
